From Hutch Top to Statement Display Cabinet

This piece began as the top of a traditional hutch and was thoughtfully reworked into a standalone display cabinet. A completely new base and flat top were built to replace the original arched silhouette, giving the piece a cleaner, more versatile profile. The exterior was finished in a rich black to ground the design, while the interior was left in a deep, warm stained wood to highlight the original character and create contrast. The result is a balanced blend of old and new—refined, functional, and intentionally preserved.
